CHICAGO -- Like many people around the NBA, New York Knicks superstar Carmelo Anthony couldnt believe that Dwyane Wade actually decided to leave the Miami Heat and sign with the Chicago Bulls.I was shocked, Anthony said before Thursdays Team USA practice at the United Center. I was shocked more from a standpoint it was just hard to see. Its hard to see some players in different uniforms and hes one of those guys who I never thought I would see in a different uniform other than Miami. But it happened, and I got a chance to talk to him and sit down with him and really dig deep about his feelings and what happened. Hes at peace now. And when hes at peace, Im at peace with it.Wade surprised many in the league by spurning the Heat to sign a two-year deal with the Bulls earlier this month. Anthony, who was wooed by the Bulls two summers ago but ultimately decided to re-sign with the Knicks, acknowledged that the free-agency process can be mentally taxing for players.I dont think the masses really understand how difficult those decisions are, Anthony said. And what goes into those decisions. And as athletes whats going through our mind during those decisions. A lot of people think we can just wake up and we can just make those decisions -- its not that easy.Anthonys comments come just a few weeks after two of the most successful Bulls in recent memory, Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah, landed in New York. Rose was dealt to the Knicks last month. Noah signed as a free agent. We love them, Anthony said. We love those additions. And were looking forward to getting the season going. And I think everybody is excited, the excitement is back. Right now theres an adjustment on paper, but of course we have some work to do putting it all together, making it work. But were going to ride the wave of this excitement right now.As for a rekindling of a rivalry between the Bulls and Knicks, Anthony said he knows that its possible with all the moves both teams have made.I know you guys want that, Anthony said. I know youre living for that. But we embrace that. I think as players, as competitors, we embrace all of those challenges and rivalries, thats what makes the sport great again, so we embrace that.Anthony seemed certain that when the schedule comes out, the Bulls and Knicks would be facing off against each other either on opening night or Christmas Day as one of the leagues premiere matchups.Oh, theyre waiting for that, he said. Might be opening night -- one of the two. I guarantee you its one of the two. Vapormax Blanche Pas Cher . Louis. To which I would say two things: 1. Where there is smoke, there is or perhaps has been a little fire. Or, in other words, the two teams would appear to have at least spoken. And spoken is defined as one calling the other to inquire, no more, no less. Vapormax Solde . HARRISBURG, Pa. -- A senior judge will preside over the criminal trial of three former Penn State administrators on charges stemming from their handling of child molestation complaints about former assistant coach Jerry Sandusky, a court spokesman said Friday.Retired Berks County Judge John Boccabella was appointed June 30 by the states chief justice to handle the case in Harrisburg after Dauphin County judges recused themselves.Criminal charges against former university vice president Gary Schultz and former athletic director Tim Curley were first filed in 2011, followed a year later by charges against former president Graham Spanier. All three men vigorously deny the allegations against them, and some of their more serious charges were dismissed in January by an appeals court that determined their right to legal representation was violated by the actions of the universitys then-general counsel. The case against the three has dragged on largely in secret, as the appeals issue concerned matters related to the grand jury that investigated in 2011 and recommended charges against Curley, Schultz and Sandusky.More recently, a Dauphin County juddge directed defense attorneys and the attorney generals office to file pretrial motions this month and let him know if they wanted a hearing.ddddddddddddAll three defendants have filed the documents, which were published online Friday afternoon, seeking dismissal of charges. Prosecutors have several weeks to respond. Now that Boccabella has the case, its not clear what the next step will be.My understanding is hes done nothing but read the case files, Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts spokesman Jim Koval said Friday. In requesting the assignment of an out-of-county judge, Dauphin County President Judge Richard Lewis sought someone who was not affiliated with Penn State, the state police or the attorney generals office.Boccabella did not return a phone message seeking comment.Sandusky was convicted in 2012 of 45 counts of child sexual abuse involving 10 boys. He was sentenced to 30 to 60 years in prison and is appealing.---This story has been corrected to show the spokesman spoke Friday, not Thursday. ' ' '
